Help Jarrod march Carolina Crown!

My name is Jarrod Briley. I will be a senior in high school this year, and my dream is to march with a Drum Corps International world class corps. For a long time music has influenced my life, and now it is more than ever. I plan to attend ECU as a Music Education major and get my masters in Tuba Performance. As you know, college is not cheap. I have been offered a contract to march with Carolina Crown, the 2013 Drum Corps International World Champion. Sadly, the age out level is 21, so I only have the next four years to experience this activity as much as possible. For those who do not know, marching a corps can be very expensive. Registration and audition camps can be anywhere from $150-$200, and tuition is usually around $2000. Not to include all camps ($125 each), spring training ($300), and travel money for transporting me to and from the camps every month. Anyone who donates to support me is helping me fulfill my biggest dream, the one thing I have wanted most ever since I learned of it 5 years ago. Marching with a corps does not only give the experience of a life time, but it will increase my abilities as a musician, preparing me for college. The stories you hear and the competitions you go to do not compare to the experience of actually being involved. Carolina Crown is an incredible organization, and one of the highest level drum and bugle corps. It will be an incredible honor to march with them this summer. My family is a little tight on funds at the moment, and considering that I will be having to pay for college as well pretty soon, I need to raise as much funds as possible.
