Kerry Halley-Skelton Memorial Fund

My family lost my sister unexpectedly Monday morning 4/15/19.  As we are all still trying to deal with this great loss, I wanted to set up this fund in the hopes to help her husband and daughter in any way possible. All donations will go directly to Adam and Autumn.

 My sister was married for nearly thirty years to her loving husband Adam Skelton. Kerry was a beautifully funny and caring person as well as one of the strongest people I've ever known. She was a veteran of tough times and had survived cancer at three points in her life. Kerry had been cancer free for quite some time and I thought there was nothing she couldn't do or battle through. Her and her husband Adam were unable to have children due to the cancer but had chose to adopt a beautiful little baby girl seven years ago who they named Autumn. My sister excelled academically and was naturally talented with art and music and loved to paint. I will miss her sense of humor the most. 

 Words can't express my happiness and gratitude for Adam being as loving and devoted to his wife/my sister as he has been over the years. Adam fulfilled his life long dream of becoming a Firefighter but had been unable to continue to fulfill his duties after sustaining injuries on the job and having to leave the service on disability. He's a great man and I'm proud to call him my brother.  Both Kerry and Adam have had a difficult road with their daughter for some time but found out a couple years back that their daughter had been diagnosed with Autism and pediatric bipolar disorder. Knowing this helped in learning new approaches to raising Autumn, but will still be even more difficult as a single parent.

 The road they've traveled has had it's share of bumps along the way. Although he will be on his own now, my hope is to help alleviate Adam's financial burden going forward. Any positive thoughts, prayers, or donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated more than you will know.
