Tanya Kennedy Gill is one of the best human beings I've ever met. Right now her heart is broken...and it's time for us rally together and help. Her only child, Christian, was born with a very rare form of Skin Cancer called Nevus. He passed away September of 2014 after a courageous 19 month battle. She went to his gravesite yesterday and it had been robbed. Completely bare. Everything, GONE. His flowers, Angels, toys, statues and even the bronze vase that held the flowers had been stolen. She is completely heartbroken. A plea for help to replace what was taken has turned into much, MUCH more. A call was placed to Blossoms Florist. They will be making a wreath every single month for the next year to be placed at his resting place. 19 Solar powered Angels have been found and will be ordered ASAP to be placed at the site as well. I am currently working on flowers monthly for the next year and a few other items. Christian was treated at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. I have been in contact with a nurse there that not only helped with his care but became very close to Tanya. I've asked what we can donate for the holidays in his name. What do the kids on his cancer floor need? Christian LOVED his red wagon. When he was unable to walk he would cruise around with his dog, Spot, and visit with everyone, smiling and laughing along the way. We have been told that there is always a shortage. I am in contacts w a toy store to order in bulk. We will order as many red wagons or push cars as we can with the funds we get. Also, his beloved dog Spot can be ordered bulk as well. I would love to give a Spot and a wagon to as many kiddo's as possible for Christmas at the hospital. Any donation is appreciated. This will all be in Christians name. Let's keep his spirit alive and help other kiddo's along the way.
