Datum Architectural Glazing, a local Essex business, and 3 Chambers of Trade ( Rochford, Hockley and Rayleigh ) are raising money and support for Ukraine's people and hospitals.

At least two million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they now face an uncertain future.

As the conflict in Ukraine escalates, families fleeing the war have left their homes with only the items they could carry. Please help us provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection. The intense conflict is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Critical infrastructure such as health facilities, water supplies and schools have also been damaged or destroyed.

At Ukraine’s borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova, vast numbers of people arrive with only what they can carry. In many p

laces, there are long waits to cross and basic facilities waiting for them on the other side, with temperatures dropping below freezing overnight.

Datum Architectural Glazing, a local Essex business - have a mission to support the Ukraine conflict with medical products to support the make-shift hospitals in Ukraine. The plan is to send a convoy to Ukraine with the medical supplies and reuse the vehicles to transport the refugees to a safe haven.

We need your help to provide the essential items required to save lives. We must act now to protect the people caught up in this crisis, Ukraine and its bordering countries.

Mission Statement

Operation Ukraine task group is to offer direct humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine, still trying to flee to the safety of the borders.

We will first be delivering much-needed medical supplies across the border, assisting in setting up a field hospital outside of Lviv. Still, our primary objective is to get as many people to safety as possible.

We are a 13 strong team and will form a vehicle convoy leaving the UK to Ukraine, 11 of us will then cross over into Ukraine to start our work.

We have an initial timescale of 2 months, but this will depend on how the situation unfolds once we get into the country.
