Duran Family Fund

On the morning of Wednesday, September 12 the lives of the Duran family changed in the blink of an eye. While walking down the stairs to wait for the bus, Yuleidy & Raulin’s youngest son , 5 year old Anderson slipped and fell over the 6ft+ banister. Thankfully, with the quick thinking of his older brother Jadihel, the family got Him to the hospital in time to be treated. After CT scans and observation it was discovered that Anderson had suffered multiple skull fractures and a ruptured ear canal. He was quickly placed under the care of the best Pediatric trauma specialists and is currently undergoing treatment in the Pediatric ICU at a local
hospial. 
     Both Yuleidy and her husband Raulin have full time jobs, however due to the severity of Anderson’s condition, Yuleidy had to make the decision to take a leave of absence from her job for the foreseeable future to remain by her sons side during this long healing period. While they are Very grateful their insurance will cover the extensive medical bills, losing one source of income for a family of 4 is extremely difficult for any household. As any parents would they are willing to sacrifice to ensure that her son has the best care on his road to recovery.
     As a friend of the family, I created this Go Fund me to help this family ease the financial burden while they focus on the most important goal - helping their son heal and get back to the smart, energetic 5 year old boy he was before this accident!
