Ryan was diagnosed at 6 months old with Hirschsprung's disease. His Large intestine was removed at 6 month's. He has a partial small intestine left. More than 2/3rds is gone. He has had 37 surgeries in his lifetime. Because of his disease he also has Short Bowel Syndrome. He only stays hydrated at this time with IV fluids. He also gets very low in Potassium and magnesium and needs IV treatments of those as well. It is very dangerous for your body to be low or high in those. Not being hydrated can become very dangerou,s it has already caused a lot of stress on his heart. The doctors are working hard to see what else can be done. Surgery is NOT an option for Ryan anymore because every time it is done he loses more of his Bowel. 

Ryan needs inhome care and infusions 7days a week to stay alive and the cost is $111/day. Ryan cannot get his insurance to cover at home care because he is not homebound.  The current goal is to provide them with the finances to cover the cost of care for a year.
