Help me volunteer in a Thai village!

This Summer I will be volunteering in a village near Nong Khai, a city in northern Thailand bordering Laos. I will have my very own class for villagers looking to learn English! Learning English will allow them so many more opportunities, and will be an incredible learning experience for me, too. I will also be stopping in Taiwan and Bali to see friends and have more wonderful experiences with a limited extra cost; however, my primary time and money spent will be focused in Thailand.

I've been working as a dishwasher at a restaurant for a few months now, I've mowed lawns countless times, taken care of dogs, saved allowances, held a successful bake sale, and literally haven't spent a penny on myself since the beginning of this school year. It's all gone straight to this trip. My parents and I have come up with almost $4000, but this trip will cost around $5800. We had anticipated more earnings, but I promise you I did the very best I could!
