<div>I am communicating with you with an extinguished spirit and extreme despair. My name is Loai Irwished. I am from Gaza City, Palestine, a fourth-year university student in the software engineering department. I used to work in a software company and lost my job due to the war on Gaza. I and my family feel very helpless due to the hardships of the ongoing war in Gaza. The situation has become increasingly difficult and urgent, and I am asking for your help to raise money for the emergency evacuation of my family, which consists of ten members: my father, my mother, my older brother Odai, who is 23 years old, who also lost his job in a software company due to the war, and my brother Moaz is 17 years old, my sister Renad is 15 years old, my sister Remas is 13 years old, my sister Eileen is 10 years old, my little brother Ali is 6 years old, and my younger sister Mira is 4 years old.

<div>We were displaced from our home, which is located in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, to the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza. We stayed there for 90 days in an UNRWA shelter. We lived through very difficult days in light of the interruption of water, electricity, communications, and the Internet. We witnessed a high cost of living that we had never experienced before. And the interruption of all food commodities, the most important of which is flour. We ate animal food due to the lack of flour.

<div>After the intensification of the bombing on the central region, we were displaced again from the center of Gaza to the south in the city of Rafah, which is densely populated with a population of 1.5 million people. We now live in a simple tent in the harsh cold and heavy rains, without shelter and without the minimum necessities of human life.

<div>A short time ago, we received the news that our house was bombed and completely destroyed, and with it all our memories, our childhood, and the beautiful days we spent there died, and we are now homeless and without a home.

<div>We have seen death with our own eyes over and over again. We experienced death slowly, in light of the intense bombing, destruction, hunger, and lack of security, health, and safety. I don't know whether we will survive until evacuate from Gaza.

<div>With Israel's announcement of ground entry into Rafah, we completely lack a safe haven, and we must evacuate the Gaza Strip immediately. We are in a situation that requires an urgent need for your intervention.
</div>
<div>Fortunately for us, my mother’s family resides in Sweden. My grandfather, grandmother, and uncles do everything possible to help us and submit the necessary papers to the Swedish government to issue a visa to travel there. However, unfortunately, we have to pay all evacuation expenses ourselves and we are in a financial situation that does not allow for that.
</div>
<div>With your support and generosity, we aim to raise a target amount of $50,000 (500,000 SEK) and the funds will be allocated to the following purposes:
</div>
<div>- Permits and transit fees required to leave Gaza at the Egyptian-Palestinian border in Rafah ($5,000 = 50,000 SEK per adult , $2,500 = 25,000 SEK for persons under 16 years old).
</div>
<div>5 individuals x $5,000 + 5 individuals x $2,500 = $37,500 (375,000 SEK)
</div>
<div>- Residence in Cairo while awaiting travel papers.
</div>
<div>- Airline tickets for ten people from Cairo to Sweden.
</div>
<div>- Covers GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per donation).
