The Koffman’s - rebuilding their life

Donation protected
Hello,

On April 30th at around 10:45pm, disaster struck in a way, no one can ever prepare. Joshua Koffman, Heather and Shane Koffman’s middle son, heard an explosion come from the front porch of the house. Joshua went to investigate and what he saw, was something he was never prepared for. The entire side porch, and side of the house was completely enflamed. He immediately awakened his sleeping fiancé and his parents, and they all made it safely out of the house. With only the clothes on their backs.

This weekend was supposed to be a joyous weekend, as Joshua and his fiancé Paige were to be married at his parents house.

Shane and Heather, along with Tracy and Elaine, and their wonderful neighbor, Kim, have worked so hard over the last few weeks on building a beautiful new deck, and preparing their home to welcome friends and family, to help celebrate their son’s wedding, and create wonderful memories that would last a lifetime. Ones that they would be able to treasure in the house they made a home.

In a matter of minutes, that home became engulfed in flames, and all they could do was stand and watch as the house they made a home, slowly burned. They found solace in knowing, that God saved them, last night could have turned out completely different if Joshua had not been awake, so they are counting their blessings, the ones they know they received.

They have lost everything, everyone is reaching out asking how they can help, so WE as a family decided to create this page. Shane, Heather, Joshua, and Paige, lost everything, from clothes, to just the necessities, they lost the keys to their cars as those burned in the fire as well. Their neighbors took them in last night, and while that is temporary and we are gracious, we know they will need something long term.

Yes, they do have insurance, but as everyone knows insurance takes time. So the funds that we raise here will go to living expenses, necessities, food, gas, clothing, etc.

ANY amount helps and as always, Prays are always welcomed and appreciated as we know through Gods Grace and Mercy, Shane, Heather, Joshua, and Paige are still with us.

Please feel free to share, and I thank you

‼️UPDATE 5/3/2023‼️

Outta the ashes, beauty will rise. And rise it has!

It has risen in the form, of love and kindness from a neighbor, to the extended love of family, near and far, and the helping hand of a stranger.

In the darkest times, YOU, each and every person, who has prayed with us, shared with us, given with and for us, have helped lift our family up, and we cannot be more grateful, thankful and blessed for each and everyone of you.

The devastation is real, but the hope of new beginnings is even greater. It is with great happiness that we get to announce that Joshua and Paige will still get to have their wedding, and while it might not be exactly how they planned for it to be, they still get to start their journey as husband and wife, and they get to share this special moment with, family and friends in an intimate ceremony at their Aunt Tracy and Elaine’s home in Nashville TN, this weekend.

We ask that you please continue to share, as the journey of starting over is just beginning, and no donation is too small! We thank you again from the bottom of our heart for all who have prayed, donated, and shared!
