Creating a Trauma Therapy Office

My vision is to create a trauma/PTSD therapy office.
My practice would provide services in an underserved area of Central New Jersey, and would offer discounted services for underprivileged clients in need. I am already offering services on sliding scale!
I also intend to volunteer my services when I complete my certification with Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute. As a member of the Institute, I can serve on disaster relief teams which are deployed to help people deal with the after effects of a natural disaster or larger scale traumatic event.
All of us have had trauma in life! My own story includes being raised by a manic-depressive mother, and gambling-addicted father. While training to complete my trauma therapy certification, all members of my immediate family have died except for my brother. Dad just passed away in October 2016 and left me to pay for his funeral/cremation arrangements with only $49.50!
As of February 2017, I am an intermediate level 2 Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy trainee, and will be starting advanced year in August 2017 (visit www.traumahealing.org for more information, or to view my directory listing)
I have served in my community for over 25 years as a licensed massage therapist, and yoga teacher/trainer.
Extremely self motivated, I have written and self-published three books on yoga. I also co-authored nine other books on yoga.
Immediately, donated funds would go toward finishing my certification (about $15,000 to complete intermediate level two & three in February and April 2017, and advanced levels one & two in 2017/2018.
Funds would also be allocated for advertising, outreach, and office set up.
Any extra funds will go toward the completion and self-publishing of my current book, "Wisdom from a Codependent Yogi."
