Our 3 year old foster girl's right hip is badly broken as a result of being accidentally ran over by a truck on the fruit orchard where she roamed. She has already overcome so much. When she was rescued she had a large infected open wound caused by a rattlesnake bite. She was loaded with worms and extremely emaciated. She has recovered from all of this and this broken hip is Delilah's last hurdle to overcome.
The good news is that the Vet says it can be improved through surgery and she will not have to lose her back leg. However, she will need this operation to remove some of her shattered hip bone and fuse her hip back together. The surgery will likely run around $1000-$1500. (This is a very reduced estimate thanks to the generosity of the Vet)
