Help get my son to Costa Rica!

C-Jaye is one of 21 kids chosen to go to Costa Rica with his Spanish class April 2014! We are so thrilled that he has been given this amazing opportunity to spend 10 days exploring Costa Rica, saving baby turtles, zip lining through the rain forest, meeting new people and learning another culture.

No amount it to small to help us reach our goal. C-Jaye will hand write thank you letters to everyone who helps him make this dream come true and he will be sure to share stories and photos from his trip with you! Thank you so much for your support.

Here is what Ecoteach (the group that is taking there class) has to say about there upcoming trip.
-The ultimate opportunity to connect cultural immersion with vital conservation projects.
-Volunteer at a sea turtle project on the Osa Peninsula, located on the south Pacific Coast, and declared "one of the most biologically intense places on earth" by National Geographic.
-Work side by side with local biologists as you monitor green and hawksbill turtles from boats in Drake Bay. Participate in measuring and tagging of turtles before they are released safely back into the ocean.
-Participate in coastline and mangrove clean up and reforestation.
-Have a chance to see whales, dolphins, monkeys and more!
-Visit an indigenous Boruca community and attend a mask making workshop.
-Spend two nights in Cerro de la Muerte Cloud Forest and experience its amazing biodiversity.
-Participate in a community service project building clean burning stoves for migrant farm workers and their families.
-Visit a butterfly farm and local elementary school.
-Spend a night at an ecolodge located in the rainforest of Sarapiqui.
-Soar through the forest canopy on a zipline tour.
