Please help support me in going on the next Teacher Training Course for Transcendental Meditation (TTC) this fall. I learned Transcendental Meditation when I was 10 years old, and to this day it has been the single most influential and beautiful experience of my 26 years.The experience of transcending has always been in my heart as a pure and silent force. This force has guided me towards light year after year, even in my own personal times of darkness and struggle. It is the reason I truly, want to become a teacher. This desire to become a teacher of TM, has gotten stronger each year especially since working for The Quiet Time Program and The Center for Wellness and Achievement in Education, (CWAE) in San Francisco ( http://cwae.org/)">www.CWAE.org)
for the last two years.
Working in a public school where Transcendental Meditation has been implemented, has been a profound and rewarding role for me. Although I grew up in Fairfield, IA around many peers who learned TM, being surrounded by a different youth community has opened my eyes to the paramount impact this technique has on people. Seeing many of the students in these public schools learn TM has been both heartening and motivating for me.
In the last two years I have frequently thought to myself, "This really does work, and most of them really do get it." It's been a humbling reality to witness. It's propelled me in wanting to become a TM teacher more than anything in the world, as well as feeling even more gratitude for my own practice.
I'm hoping to begin TTC in the fall and continue working for The Quiet Time Program where I will be able to actually teach students and others Transcendental Meditation.
This path, in turn, has always been my truth because it is where my bliss has ultimately, always been. There is nothing I feel more passionate about.
