300km in November for Youth Mental Health

I will be running 300km throughout November (~10km a day) for Kildare Youth Service. KYS are an absolutely amazing organisation, dedicated to helping those aged 11-25 years old through a variety of different services, counselling being but one of them.

KYS' vision is ''An inclusive and fair world where children and young people are valued in their own right and actively engaged and supported by their families, communities and wider society, to reach their full potential''.

Mental health is undoubtably a huge concern nowadays, particularly during the current pandemic with the uncertainty of everything.

I felt this was the perfect month to put the extra time to good use, and raise as much funds as possible to offer resources to those who reach out for them. Reaching out for mental health resources is the bravest thing any young or old person alike could do, and this month should be dedicated to helping that transition from bad to better times a little bit easier.

Things absolutely get easier, and a helping hand isn't as far away as you would think.
