300 Men March in response to a recent wave of violence

On Friday, July 5th at 7 pm, 300 or more men will take to the streets marching from the 3400 block of West North Avenue and ending at the 2500 block of East North Avenue, in response to the spike in the level of gun violence within the city of Baltimore.

COR Fitness Executive Director, Munir Bahar answered the call to action after a total of 36 shootings and 15 deaths have occurred since the onset of summer. Organizing the "300 Men March" is an initiative to assemble 300 or more men as a combined effort to show solidarity.
We will display a presence of men who are active in their community and are sending a message of peace and nonviolence throughout Baltimore City.

The march is a joint effort to bring together men of all races, religions, affiliations, and backgrounds to accomplish what every Baltimore resident is asking, "Where do we start:"
The event has gained the support of the Baltimore City Police Department, Baltimore City Officials, the business community, religious community, and concerned residents who are ready to partner together concerning the heightened amount of gun violence. We realize the "we" approach is needed to make a clear statement that the violent acts committed will not be
tolerated in Baltimore City.

The donations will be used to cover the following costs:
-Waters - to be distributed to the participants
-Violence prevention Flyers - to be passed out to the residents
-300 MenMarch Stickers - distributed to the participants
-T-Shirts - distributed to the volunteers
-Videographer Expenses

-Photography Expenses

-Any unforeseen logistics expenses
