Olive, Lisa and I will be walking 30 miles in one hit on the 16th March 2025 to help fundraise towards her World Challenge Trip to Tanzania in 2026. As a lot of you know, Danny and I have completed a few mammoth walks over the years and the girls have joined us on many of our training walks, the furthest being 25Km.

When we were brainstorming ideas to raise funds, we thought a walk would be a good idea, but Olive wanting to challenge herself so we aimed for a marathon, but then found the Sevenoaks walk and thought ‘what the hell’! We managed to rope in Lisa to join us as she’s a pro when it comes to long walks and it will help keep Olive uplifted to get to the end.

It will be the longest walk that Olive has attempted (almost double!) and with the added challenge of having to complete it in 11 hours, means we have had to up the training slightly!

The overall cost for the trip is £4,595 (we have already raised £610 towards it and we would be overjoyed if we could reach our next target of £1000 for the walk as it will keep us going to get to that finish line.

Olive will spend two weeks trekking round Tanzania, helping to build schools and educating and empowering women.
