<div>While staying in Kassiopi, Corfu, we came across three 5 week old abandoned kittens living outside without their mother.

<div>They are vulnerable, struggling to compete with the adult cats for food, and, most worryingly, all have badly affected eyes and one had a high temperature and has lost his appetite - they urgently need veterinary attention and assistance.

<div>We couldn’t simply walk away without trying to help them.
</div>

<div>Our hope is to get the kittens examined and treated, arrange safe foster care for them in Corfu, and once they are old enough and have completed all the necessary vaccinations and paperwork, bring them legally to the UK, where they can have the safe and loving future they deserve.

<div>Bringing rescue kittens from Greece to the UK is not a quick or simple process. They must be old enough to receive their rabies vaccinations, be microchipped, wait the required period after vaccination, and travel through an approved route with the correct veterinary and import documentation. As rescue animals, they also need to travel through a registered organisation or licensed animal transporter.

<div>• Licensed transport from Corfu to the UK

<div>• Any additional treatment or unexpected costs

<div>Any funds remaining after the kittens’ veterinary care and relocation will be donated to the Corfu animal-welfare organisation <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1F2yV8YBds/?mibextid=wwXIfr" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kassiopi Cats</a> and Agni Animal Welfare who are helping us, so that they can support other cats in need.
