3 Peaks Challenge, in aid of the Sulha Alliance

 Hi everyone,

My name is Alex, thank you for your time. I represent a small group of hopeful future British Army Office Candidates. We are attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge, in an effort to raise funds for the Sulha Alliance.

The Sulha Alliance is a group who are helping locally employed civilians (LEC)’s, and their families, from Afghanistan. These are people who have, at great personal risk to themselves, their families and communities, decided to help allied, NATO and British forces over the last 20 years of conflict in the region. They are now in immediate danger from the Taliban.

Sulha Alliance aims to help in there main areas;

1. Aiding LEC’s in leaving Afghanistan

2. Aiding those who are stuck in refugee camps

3. Providing long term support for those who have settled in the UK

The event is scheduled to be held on the last weekend of September, 24th-26th, and will see the group attempt to submit the highest peak from Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowden)all within a 24hr time frame. In the interest of safety the event may be postponed till the spring, if bad weather conditions prevent safe assents on the proposed dates.
