Friends Giving Back, Inc.

The 3-Day Party With a Purpose is an annual fundraising  event  held in Tyler, Texas by friends with a heart for giving and their friends from around the country. The event raises funds for a different charity each year.

This marks the event's seventh year and the  charity selected is the American Heart Association (AHA).
All proceeds raised from the campaign will go directly to the AHA to support their efforts to prevent and educate about heart disease and stroke. The AHA describes itself as, "...the nation’s leader in CPR education training. We help people understand the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. We provide science-based treatment guidelines to healthcare professionals to help them provide quality care to their patients. We educate lawmakers, policymakers and the public as we advocate for changes to protect and improve the health of our communities."

Fundraising begins in June and ends in September when Friends Giving Back, Inc. holds its annual 3-Day Party With a Purpose gala event to announce the fundraising results and present a check  to representatives of the AHA.
