SC Blues Girls U14 Championship Travel

The SC Blues Girls Under 14 won the Cal-South National Cup Title
on May 18. The team has advanced to the Far West Regional National Cup Tournament held in Honolulu Hawaii.
The cost of sending 15 players and their coach to Hawaii on short notice is challenging.
We are fundraising to offset some of the costs associated with the trip which include airfare for the players and their coach hotel expenses for 8 nights and two passenger vans to ferry the players to events. The budget for this is over $30,000!
Now the team could do car washes, sell candy bars, or gift wrap and nag all of you to participate, but the reality is, there's little time for that and in my experience, you'd be buying things you'd otherwise not buy.
ANY DONATION will be greatly appreciated and go to offset team costs. Families will still be responsible for their own travel. Donations will pay for:
The team vehicles and fuel
The team meals (players and coach only)
If there's any money left, it will be used to pay for the cost of the coach's accommodations (he does NOT have a daughter on the team).
HISTORY:
This team is made up of girls who were 14 years old or younger, as of July 31, 2012. Most are now 14. The team played in the Southern California Developmental Soccer League (SCDSL), an affiliate of US Youth Soccer. There are 15 players. On the way the championship, the team hasn't allowed a goal, defeating their last five (5) opponents 2-0, 5-0, 3-0, 1-0 and 1-0. Surging late, the team is peaking at the perfect time.

I'm not asking you to 'dig deep'. I'm asking you to consider a modest donation to help the girls' quest to win the national title.
If you're getting to this page, it's probably because you know someone with a kid on this team. A friend or co-worker. Maybe they've bragged about their kid's achievement; perhaps this is the first you've heard.
