Hello,
My name is Khalif EL-Salaam,i have been playing ultimate in Seattle, Washington since the 6th grade and am now a freshman at the University of Washington. Last summer i went to Dublin, Ireland and participated in the World Junior Ultimate Championships with the USA Open team and brought home the gold, this summer i have been given the opportunity to do it again. A while ago, in about march i traveled to California to try out for the USA mixed or open team that would travel to Toronto this summer to play against the rest of the world in the U-23 division. I am happy to announce that i made the Mixed team, and over the month of July I will be traveling to both a week long training camp before the actual tournament and then to the tournament its self. The community that i have made from ultimate is amazing, all the people that i have met, played, cheer on, or rooted for have helped me create great friendships and connections that i have and will always remember. The reason i am making this page is for fundraising, in order to pay for the plane tickets, gear, food, field space etc, i am attempting to use my connections and friendships to raise the amount of money needed. To who ever is reading this, i thank you for even coming to this page and reading about my awesome opportunity, if you donate money you get another BIG thank you because you are supporting an ultimate player who really wants to achieve great things.
