Healing the Children Mission Trip

Healing the Children provides critical medical care to children all around the world who are unable to afford, or to access, it on their own. I will be traveling with Healing the Children this summer as Miss World America and as a surgical assistant to provide medical care and relief to the children of Columbia.
All donations made to this GoFundMe page will go towards the funding of this mission trip as well as supplies for the children of Columbia.
More than 250,000 children have been affected by the conflict in Colombia since peace talks between the Government and the country’s main armed opposition group (FARC-EP) started three years ago. Based on verified United Nations and national data, an estimated 1,000 children were used or recruited by non-state armed groups during the same period.
Due to the state of conflict in Columbia, many children go without the basic healthcare necessities that we may take for granted here in the United States. This trip is intended to bring these healthcare necessities to those who have gone without and provide much needed relief for the children of Columbia.
