Monday morning 04/28 around 2 am A fire had broken out in the 1st floor of my apartment building it quickly spread behind the walls the smoke engulfed the building.

My parents, 3 siblings and I were in bed sound asleep when the peaceful night was disrupted by the fire alarms that went off and I woke up to thick smoke filling up my apartment. The stair case was filled with thick smoke and we could not see a single step in front of us but we quickly rushed down to the outside The Fire lasted for about 2 hours and Just like that in a blink of an eye the Fire that blazed in our building forced me and my family to go without a place to live. We left the building to escape the fire only to never be able to go back home.

We have been displaced from our home and unexpected events like these impact our lives negatively. We never thought this would happen to us and it is a very traumatic event that hopefully no one has to go through especially in the middle of the night as you sleep.

You guys will be donating to me and my family. You guys will be donating to help us rebuild and start a new life after being affected from the fire. You guys will be donating to help us find new place for us to live in and for temporary shelter as we look for a new apartment. You guys will help us feel supported and have less weight on us instead of being stressed out for a drastic disaster like this one.
