Gregory Holmes Funeral Service
There are people that we know throughout life, but really don't know who they are- Not Gregory Holmes! He was always upfront with who he was and made sure you knew what was on his mind and in his heart- He was real. He was a man that loved his family and loved life. Amongst many, he had three passions: His wife, his dogs and his Pittsburgh Steelers!
A few years ago Gregory was diagnosed with cancer. While the cancer was ravaging his body, he tried to remain optimistic and continued to make plans for the future. Even when his strength dwindled, he kept fighting. Unfortunately, on August 28th, 2015, Greg loss his fight with cancer.
It was a long and hard battle that impacted his savings, his home, his family and his job. In the end, all of his resources were tapped. He was physically, emotionally and financially spent. He died with no life insurance or resources for a funeral. His loving wife, Tarshia is obviously devastated by the loss of her husband and could use our support on every level.
I am Greg’s younger cousin, Dennis. I have always had a passion for and looked up to Greg throughout my life. He was a funny guy that could make everybody laugh. He wasn’t a man of many words, but when he spoke- he made it count. He was a hard worker and a good friend. There is never a good time to ask people for money, but I am reaching out to his friends, family and anyone that is reading this for support. Your help is needed for a proper memorial service. He was a proud man and would never ask anybody for help, but with the many medical bills remaining and additional expenses that his wife is facing- I am asking for your help.
Let’s celebrate his Greg’s life as he deserves.
On behalf of all of those that have ever shared a piece of Gregory's energy- Thank you for your Support!
Dennis
