<div>On March 1st, high school sophomore Alex went to the ER because he had trouble breathing due to what they thought was a simple cold/flu. The doctors initially thought he had pneumonia, but after further tests, the diagnosis came out as T-cell lymphoma- a rare type of blood cancer. Alex’s right lung had collapsed and a 12cm mass above his heart was discovered. He’s been transported to Loma Linda Children’s ICU. He’s already had one surgery, but doctors warn there may be more along with chemotherapy.
