Hello I run Painted Acres Animal Rescue WE are located in a very poverty stricken area of southeastern Ohio. We have no humane society here and a very small dog pound with a very high Kill rate. We run a no Kill shelter . We are currently Building a 50 run Heated and a/c kennel.We are . we also plan later to add a grooming room and a vet clinic to our rescue since we have no vets near us and the county needs a low cost clinic to help with the population. We rehome 250- 300 animals a yr. We rescue any animal in need including, horses, birds and cats , rabbits etc.  Our vet bills are extremely high at this time and run us $1000-$1500 a  month. Our feed Bills are $1300 a month. We are running on adoption fees and our retirement check We are a 5013c non profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.. All animals are spayed/ neutered, have all shots, dental work done and heart worm and fecal tested and any helth problems addressed before their adoption. Thanks for any help to get theses babys healthy again and into forever loving homes.
