Austin NeoSoul Poetry Lounge has done it again! The 2016 Slam Team is ready to make final stage and bring home all of the bragging rights, but we cannot do it without your help!
NeoSoul Poetry Lounge has been one of the nation’s premiere spoken word venues for 13 years. Over the years, we have opened our doors to a diverse group of poets and patrons to create an inner circle of faithful NeoSouldiers.
Starting in 2006 (our first slam team) NeoSoul has been a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the National Poetry Slam put on every year by PSI. The first year out the gate we took home the title of 2nd in the Nation, competing against dozens of teams from all over the United States. Since then, we have yet to come home empty handed earning a variety of titles and accolades.
Every year NeoSoul shoots to make sure the people who have worked so hard and given so much of themselves to make the team do not have to also shoulder the burden of paying everything out of their own pocket to go represent the city and the venue at Nationals. And every year the support that we have from the city never seems to let us down!

The team and the venue are beyond grateful that you are taking time to make a donation to help get us to Nationals.
