Stand for Juanita- Beat Multiple Myeloma

Hello everyone thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. My dear friend Juanita Harmon is desperately trying to get treatment for Multiple Myeloma Cancer, but is not financialy able to pay the co-pay and deductible needed to get the care she needs IMMEDIATELY. Juanita is an educated woman who was a writer worked for Am Ex and also was an employee for the Post Office to name a few of her accomplishments and she spent her life giving to others then when she needs help she is being turned away because of not having enough money. Juanita has insurance, but it is not nearly enough to cover the treatments she needs to survive. She is also dealing with trying to care for her ailing mother.
Just today they cleaned out her bank account of what little she had left so that she can get another bone marrow biopsy this Friday 5/17. By doing this they have taken away her ability to purchase food, medication, gas, utilities, etc. and they need her to do this every two months during chemo IF she can afford the co-pays for the biopsies and chemo itself.
This is where she needs our help! Please imagine if this were you, what would you do? I am not talking about not being able to go out to eat, go to Disneyland, or buy a car. I am talking about getting ANY food at all. She has to make the difficult decision to get cancer treatment or to eat. At this point without help she will be unable to have any treatment and her time on this earth is very limited.
So I am asking you to please help with whatever you can. I have applied for assistance on her behalf from the government and from many private charities including, The United Way, American Cancer Society, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Meals on Wheels just to name a few, but as you all know it takes time and she needs help right now. I will keep you all updated on funding that she hopefully gets through the pending applications.
I have never done this before so you can imagine how important this is! Time is of the essence. As you can imagine she is a very prideful woman and would never ask so that's where I come in. Together we can help a very special woman to not have to literally choose between life or having food in her fridge. Something that no American, let alone a hard working contributor to our society, should EVER have to decide.
