I am trying to raise money for my son who is one of Triplets and was born deaf. He has received Cochlear Implants the first one when he was 2 years old and the second one when he was 4 years old. He is in need of an upgrade to the external devices that are now 7 and 5 years old. We have been having trouble with them working sometimes and not working other times. He has been in and out of the hospital getting test done on the internal parts as well as the external parts. They have come up with that the issues are due to his external parts and that he is in need of an upgrade. We have tried to go through insurance but have been denied and now we are having to go out on our own and try to get them. Each external part upgrade will cost $6,475.00 so that is where the total comes in for both to be upgraded at $12,950.00 that is with a trade in of his older Cochlear Implants.
We are hoping to raise the money so that he can get upgraded and be able to do better in school as well as his speech and in general his normal everyday life. These upgrades will make a huge difference for him and are needed very badly. Please if you can help we would be very grateful. Thanks so much in advance for any help.
