Owen Alexander Stockhaus, son of our dental hygienist, Hailey Stockhaus, was born on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He was born with the knowledge that he had Spina Bifida and would need surgery within the first day of his birth. He underwent surgery early Wednesday morning and all went well. He was sedated for comfort after surgery and developed pulmonary hypertension and his oxygen levels became so low that they had to revive him. After reviving him, he was stable enough to be airlifted to Boston Children's Hospital. He is currently still there and the medical team is working to get him stable enough to remove machines so his body can start working on its own. Due to his oxygen levels getting so low, they are concerned about possible brain damage and organ failure. We are asking for your prayers and for any type of donation for Baby Owen. The money that is raised will help his family with travel, accommodations, medical costs, care for their 17 month old daughter Emma, and household costs while they are unable to work. Thank you for your love and support as it is greatly appreciated! God bless.
