Send Sam to Autism Camp!

Sam is 10-going-on-11, and has autism. There is a wonderful autism-centered group called Aspiring Youth (aspiringyouth.net) that offer summer camps.
These camps are fantastic--a 4:1 ratio, master's level camp counselors, all the camp counselors specializing in autism and special education. They are all special education teachers or social workers and have direct experience with the unique sensory and communication issues that autism presents. He will have daily social goals with social coaching, a weekly project with a peer buddy that will encourage him how to work with another child, activities that are scaled to his abilities and he'll be in a fun, inclusive atmosphere, for the first time, that is truly designed for the uniqueness that kids like Sam bring. The counselors meet weekly to discuss each child and how they are progressing. There's even weekly parent support groups!
He wants to go, and I want him to go--that many weeks with that level of specialized attention will be amazing for him as he goes into fifth grade. I have a little dream that he will learn how to have a conversation without coaching, and make a friend.
The camp is $500 a week, each session is 2 weeks, and there's a 3 week minimum. I would like to send Sam for 3 sessions.
I work hard at my job, but as a single mom to a special needs boy, expenses add up, and insurance doesn't often cover therapies relating to autism. Sam would benefit so much from this camp, he'd have fun and he really wants to go.
