Help Grant Dale's Wish

This is Dale's story.
My brother, Dale, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme(GBM), an aggressive brain cancer, in June of 2012. This came 6 months after our mom passed from a 2-month fight with intestinal/liver cancer. Dale has had an added responsibility in his life: his wife, Marcie, is blind. Dale has taken care of her and encouraged her through several surgeries which left her completely blind. They are blessed with two boys, Jude, 9, and Andrew, 13. Our dad, Dale's and mine, died in a work-related accident when Dale was 5 years old and I was 12. Our mom was a wonderful God-loving role model who taught us to appreciate and embrace everything and every day, because there is no promise of tomorrow. Because of his devastating diagnosis, Dale's thoughts of leaving Marcie to survive without him, to raise their two boys, weighs heavily on his heart.
In June 2012, Dale had a craniotomy, followed by radiation and chemo, and then went one month without any treatment. He is doing everything he can to increase his chances of survival. With this cancer, survival rates are not encouraging. Recently, in April 2013, his headaches returned and the MRI revealed spots on the corpus callosum, the bridge in between the two hemispheres. Being in an inoperable location, the corpus callosum spots were treated with 10 days of directed radiation.
Dale does not want to go through another surgery on his brain, should that be an option.  The steroids he is on break down the leg muscles and so it is difficult for him to stay strong physically. He has to be on them for brain edema(swelling), and the horrible side effects are brutal. These funds are being raised to provide an RV to go and pick up Dale and his family and drive them in comfort to Dallas where I would take care of him and he could take it easy. After a week or so we would drive them via RV back to Amarillo. The RV was so they could have fun, quality family time and so that Dale could lie down and rest on the drive. No stress, no worries for him!  Dale only does minimal driving now, and flying, with his family's circumstances, is not an option.  He is looking forward to this and I know with your help we can make this happen for Dale and his family.  This would be such a memorable gift to him!  He is so deserving of a break!!!
I am inspired and humbled by his courage daily!
Trusting God in everything,
Thank you for your prayers. They are appreciated beyond words!! And thank you for considering to help fund this much needed family vacation for Dale and his family!
Blessings!
