Support Becki's Battle

My friend, Becki is a mother, a wife and a fighter. Her girls Bryn (14yrs) and Caydence (10yrs) are the light of her life and her husband of 16yrs, Chris is her very best friend. Becki is in the fight of her life right now as she was diagnosed with breast cancer on December 11, 2012 at the age of 37. She has stage 3 breast cancer that has now spread into her frontal lobe, hips, liver and the bones in her legs. She has already endured 16 weeks of chemo. The first 8 treatments went well and her tumors started to shrink. We were all so hopeful and thrilled that our prayers were being heard. Unfortunately, in the next round of chemo, the cancer fought back and the tumors started growing again.
Becki is currently undergoing radiation on her frontal lobe tumor. She will be back in for chemo in June to start the process all over again. Because her cancer is so aggressive the doctors don't seem to think remission is something Becki will experience. Those who know her best know that she will keep fighting this thing as long as it takes to find the right combination of drugs and get her into remission! On June 5th, Becki will undergo surgery on her legs to scrape the tumors off her bones so that she can start walking again without a cane and without experiencing the excruciating pain she has been living with for the past few months.
Becki faces this whole experience with a positive approach I can only call humbling and inspirational. Her days are filled with doctors appts, chemo, radiation, more doctors appts all while working a full time job and taking care of her sweet family. My hope and prayer as I write this is that I can raise some awareness for my friend's situation and get the power of prayer working for Becki from as many people as I can reach. Also, I would love to help raise some money for Becki and her family so that they might feel a little less burdened financially as they fight this horrible disease.
