Ashley's Synovial Cell Sarcoma fight!

Our Strong, Funny, Loving Ashley is battling what has now become her second fight with Cancer. Ashley is 26 years old, a fantastic wife to her hubby Mike and a doggie mom to her babies Bella and Bailey. In March of 2012 Ashley was diagnosed with a very aggressive and rare form of cancer called Synovial Cell Sarcoma. They became aware of this cancer because of a large tumor that was quickly growing in her upper inner right thigh. She underwent 3 rounds of aggressive chemo and 25 treatments of radiation before they could remove the tumor in her leg with surgery and be CANCER FREE!!! At her 3 month scan the doctors found that the Cancer had reached her lungs. They discovered 10 new tumors that were not there 3 months prior. During the following month while they were trying to get insurance approval for the chemotherapy pill the tumors grew from 10 to 30 in numbers. Ashley's future is uncertain, but we do know that she will continue to go through many more tests and chemo to try to prolong her stay here with us. I have created this page to ease Ashley and Mike's financial burdens and allow them the time to focus on Ashley and spend as much time together as they can.
