A very special person who is loved and cherished needs our help.
Her name is Claudia Angel Miranda and she has multiple sclerosis.
Claudia was diagnosed with MS over 30 years ago. During that time she had 3 loving sons and a husband who would do anything in the world for the "love of his life."
As time has passed her condition has worsened. Claudia has been wheelchair-bound for several years. Jay, her husband, wants to be able to keep her in their home, provide for her and keep her safe. They are too young to consider a nursing home but age has added a struggle to their going it alone. As one can only imagine this is a tremendous undertaking. We need to keep Jay safe and healthy so he can continue to provide the daily care Claudia requires.
Caring for a disabled person is not an easy feat. Many spouses would have left. Jay has steadfastly stayed by his wife with so much love and care that most people would be jealous.People have asked "what can we do, how can we lighten their burden."
The purpose for this letter is that Jay needs a van to transport Claudia. It needs to be wheelchair accessible as Jay is unable to pick her up and safely get her into the car. He would like to install an overhead track system in their home to lift Claudia from the bed to the bathroom.
We are asking for your help. $75,000.00 is our goal to get Claudia what she needs. We have created a fund in Claudia's name to keep these two people together and in their home. Any amount you can donate will be appreciated. You will be helping them now in the best way possible.
We ask you to forward this letter to anyone else who you feel might like to contribute to this worthy cause. The more people we reach, the sooner their needs can be met. Everyone who has ever met Claudia knows that this is a person who is kind, loving, generous and considerate. She has never had the opportunity to enjoy life the way you and I do, but she has enjoyed life the best way she knows how. Claudia is a ray of sunshine.
