Water is Life Movement: Standing Rock and Beyond! …
The Documentary

The unprecedented attacks by the new administration In Washinton, D.C. on our clean water and those protecting it as well as our civil liberties makes our work even more critical. This work is not about me or Water is Life or any one protest - it is about US... all of us. If we allow the continued risk and contamination of our water we will not have to worry about our grandkids being able to survive, we will need to worry about ourselves. This generation now.
Our Water is Life Movement has the ability to film a documentary on the Water is Life Movement now as soon as we raise some funding for professional crews and for production and distribution. The timing is perfect - Creator and the ancestors have seen to that I am certain. :) Many are making films about Standing Rock or other individual protests - what is needed is the story of the Movement so many of us are a part of! I add the video below with some verbal thoughts on our work.
The Movement Video
I will list some of the amazing things we have accomplished as we have supported Standing Rock, Florida, Flint and others in this post later. Now... the documentary. We need $70,000 to complete what we have begun on this. Additional funds we need we are seeking from other sources. The more we can raise here, the easier and faster we secure all we need. Seems like a lot - but with the 134,000 people in our Standing Rock Protectors group it IS something we can do. And fast. Time is short. The attacks are increasing. Our children are watching. Give now please! All you can. We have delivered more than we promised before and will continue to do so.
Sue Graywolf and I are in the field now working and documenting across the U.S. as we are doing the preliminary legwork and contacts for the film. We are there for ALL OF US. The film will include visits to 4 states with active protests as it focuses on the social movement that is growing out of the many protests and the social media campaign.
The Water is Life Movement accomplishments to date... With the funding we have recieved so far we have re-created our website, begun a second website which will list all protests by state, bought some of the equipment we need to record and broadcast events, begun live streaming events with speakers from many camps, funded some work by protest groups and gotten acceptance for a documentary on the movement. Plus getting some of us out to places and people to bring to everyone what is truly going on.
A lot in a few short months. And while we have done this we have reported on and supported Standing Rock 100% - and Florida, Texas, Flint and on and on.
We are the Media
We need your donations because we are now poised to film a documentary about the movement so that people not aware of the attack on our water and we humans can be awakened. So that the 60+% of the people not on social media can be reached. The people who see only what mainstream media wish them to see. To enlarge on the “We are the Media” slogan and theme we coined in our group long before it became trendy.
The big picture = We seek to raise money for all the people who care about our Earth and her people. All of us! And our children’s children. All those who seek the type of peaceful, harmonious Earth I believe we deserve - if we work hard at it: together. Funneling that down we seek money to further document efforts around the U.S. to take back the quality of life that the degradation of our natural world is robbing us of. And the ignoring of our rights as citizens of the U.S. and the world. We started with the Standing Rock Protests of oil pipelines and the water and land degradation that will come with it. We moved to supporting, listing and documenting protests everywhere. We will continue all of this work - and more - as we create this film.

While we work on all of the above, we have others involved with the creation of the teachings, the communications, the lessons, the activism, the technological pieces and the sustainable science around the environmental issues.
Together we will grow the already amazing global support virtually to a groundswell that cannot be ignored. That is our mission - our goal. We ask your help. At whatever level you are able. All dollars matter - all make a statement. If everyone in this group gave a few dollars we would begin filming in just weeks!!! Think about that. See what we have done with almost no support, but wonderful spirit, and ….. imagine what we can do WITH financial support!
