Eamonn's Eye Surgery For Cataract

Hello family and friends.  As some of you already know, our son Eamonn was born with Cataracts in his left eye.  It is an illness that has left him blind.  By the grace of God, our pediatrician caught it on his first appointment.  Our little blessing has been on this earth for a little over a month now.  We go into surgery on May 10th, trying to give him a fighting chance, to see. If all goes well, we expect his vision to be corrected.  This is only half the battle, for he will need another surgery at two years old for an artificial lens to be implanted.  He will need special glasses, his right eye will need to be patched, and at twelve years old he will need another surgery to refit the artificial lense.  As some of you can imagine this month has been extremely overwhelming with the news given to us.  We are doing our best to stay strong and to keep moving foward.  Unfortanately, this will leave a financial burden on us that we will not be able to repay on our own.  Theresa and I are asking everyone and anyone that can contribute anything, that it will greatly be appreciated.  All costs will go directly to Eamonn's surgery, his medical exams and follow up appoinments, and upcoming surgeries he will have.  We know everyone can not help, which we understand, so we ask if you can share this and get the word out to your friends.  I personally want to thank you all for taking the time for reading this and helping us.  We know that with our family, friends, and the Lord's help we will get through this.
