Please help Roy and his family

Hello friends,
this campaign has been started for my, and many of yours, friend. Roy is not only a great friend with a kind heart, but he also a wonderful husband, father and a son who would drop anything to be at his mother's side. Unfortunately, this has recently happened. While his mother was in Turkey, she injured herself and is need of surgery. When Roy heard of this, he booked his flight and left his wife and daughter to be by his mother's side. Please find in your heart to donate to his family in aid of support. Following is not his plea, but simply a informative msg to all who are concerned.
"Please help. This hospital kept postponing my mom's surgery date everyday, because they said that they need to order the artificial joint.
Last Friday, they said she could have a surgery on Monday or Tuesday. When I arrived on Monday, they couldn't do it for same reason. I was told her surgery is possibly Tuesday but most likely Wednesday.
Today(Tuesday), they said the surgery's going to happen on Thursday, so that's ...why I was looking for another option to go back to Korea.
Fortunately, I was able to book a flight, arrange the transportation from the airport to the hospital, and kinda arrange the hospital as well.
Now, the doctor, who told me earlier my mom can go under her and my responsibility, refused to sign the 'fit to fly' letter. Because he concerns the risk of embolism too much.
I know. It's true. The risk is higher than any other people. However, just waiting for a surgery for a week? Isn't it risky?
Above all, they say they can do the surgery tomorrow after I purchased almost 10 thousand dollars which is not covered by her crappy travel insurance. Earlier this morning, they said they need at least 2 days to prepare, but magically able to do it very next day!
I'm going to beg to the doctor tmrw morning to sign the paperwork because I desperately want the 'fit to fly' form signed. She can't on board without it."
