Chris Skelton is a 51 y/o native of Clearwater who lives in Clearwater to this day. He's as much stubborn as he is sweet. A spitfire that would literally give you the shirt off his back. Chris will fight for what is right for his friends and family. Today, Chris is fighting for his own life.
Midnight, Friday May 3rd, 2013, Chris suffered a brain aneurysm followed by a stroke followed by a seizure. The fact that Chris survived these lethal issues is a testament to just how strong of a fighter he really is. Chris underwent and survived brain surgery the very next day. This is not Chris' first brush with personal tragedy. In October of 2002, Chris suffered a fall from his roof and was told that he would never walk again. Not only did he walk, but he fought until he regained his own life. Today, Chris is in the ICU in a medically induced coma surviving many set backs. His prognosis is guarded.
Chris is the father of 2 sons: Rick & Adam. His girlfriend Cheryl has been continuously by his side. Chris is a son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and most of all a true friend.
Chris' medical bills are already astronomical and grow every day. His mortgage and every day bills continue to be due. Chris' financial status is dire. He is working hard to medically recover but may never recover financially. Please help Chris in any way you can. All donations will be put toward Chris' financial stability.
