Urgent! Please Help Cheryl get the medical help she needs!
My beloved Aunt, Cheryl Derby-Okumu, is suffering from complications from Systemic Lupus.
Our hopes are that through the generosity of others she will be able to get the financial help she needs for her debilitaing illness and the complications that come with her receiving treatment. So that she may be well again and continue to do what God has called her to do.
Cheryl is currently in Uganda, Africa with her husband, where she helps support his ministry ( Many Mansions of Christ International).
Her INSURANCE is NOT ACCEPTED in Africa. As of now, we know she has a leaky mitral valve and leaky tricuspad valve in her heart. She has been having extreme difficulty breathing, swelling and an open sore on her ankle that is necrotic with possible blood poisoning. We do not know the extent of what is going on with her health because there is no money to get the tests and treatment that she needs. She needs to come back to the United States in order to be EFFECTIVELY treated into REMISSION.
Cheryl is a woman of God who's wish is to continue what God has called her to do.
We are setting a Goal of $7000. The biggest expense will be round trip air fare for Cheryl and her husband so that she can come back home to get the medical care she needs.
Other expenses include transportation costs, co pays and deductibles not covered by her insurance. Unforseen expenses may occur.
