Please consider donating to help Rachel through her breast cancer journey/treatment! Both her husband and herself are taking time off work to do everything they can to beat cancer and continue living their life together. We all know today’s world is already a challenge financially. So let’s try and raise some money to help pay for medical bills, food, gas, wigs, and anything that might help them through this difficult time.

A few words from Mrs. Rachel herself:
“Not exactly the way Kyle and I wanted to start off 2025. Please, please, please, this is not a poor me or sympathy post. This is more to document our journey and progress and to possibly help others.

Getting diagnosed with stage 1B breast cancer at 34 is scary and a lot to process. More specifically, it's T1 N1-2 M0. It's also ER and PR positive and HER2 negative. It's not genetic; it's specifically fed by the estrogen and progesterone in my body. The biggest tumor is 2.6 cm. The second one is 1.5 cm, with multiple lymph nodes involved. I have been to many doctors over the past 2 months, and all of them have said curable. We had some big decisions to make on which treatment plan to go with. Unfortunately, I couldn't avoid chemotherapy because of my age. So the treatment plan will be:

- 16 treatments of chemo to shrink the tumor and lymph node involvement.
- Lumpectomy with lymph node removal in late August/early September
- 1 month of healing
- 6 weeks of radiation
- 5 to 10 years of hormone therapy

I had my first chemo treatment yesterday. I am feeling good. No side effects so far. These first 4 chemo treatments are the hard ones, and it gets easier from there. Second chemo is scheduled for March 11th. If everything goes as planned, I will be cancer-free in November.

So this year may look a little different, but we are determined in every way to beat this and continue life as normal. We are taking things day by day and celebrating the wins when we can get them. Your outlook going into this can determine a lot, so we are trying to be as positive as we can be.”

Can't stress enough to go get your yearly mammogram and do your monthly self-breast exams. #CANCERSUCKS
