On Wednesday April 20th, a tragic event occured whereby an ambulance crashed into a underpass on the Long Island Southern State Highway killing two people. Autumn's father Jimmy was the patient that died in the crash. Jimmy spent 15 months at a NYC hospital due to complications from a heart transplant and recovered to a point where he could be moved to a rehab center in Freeport, NY. The ambulance ride that ended tragically in two deaths was the ride taking Jimmy to the rehab facility.
Autumn is a beautiful 7 year old girl who along with her mother, lives with our co-worker and Autumn's grandfather, Frank Bachhuber. Autumn has spent the past year of her life having to travel into NYC to see her dad.
Frank has been with our company, Control Supply, for 32 years, is part of our family and has been a tremendous part of our success. To honor Jimmy we are starting a campaign to help provide for Autumn's future needs.
We hope to raise at least $25,000 to be utilized for her development and to ease the financial burden on her mother Kim. Please help us support Autumn by donating to Autumn's Fund.
