Matthew joined us on July 7th, 2017 and has since filled our lives and whoever met him with smiles, laughter, and love.


It is with great reluctance that we report Matthew suddenly and unexpectedly departed from our world on Saturday, October 21st 2017.

Matthew's parents Lynn and Michael had to make the difficult decision to terminate life support as his condition continued to decline despite the heroic efforts of the doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists at Bristol Hospital ER, Life Flight, and CT Children's Medical Center ICU staff.

Although brief, his time here with us was spent in the loving care of family and friends who remember him as a vibrant little boy who would light up any space with his infectious smile. 

In this time of grief, we have received love and support from around the world in the name of Matthew, with numerous requests to help and show support however possible. Due to the unexpected nature of his passing, Lynn and Michael have incurred a few medical and funeral expenses which they are struggling to bare alone. Be it small or large, any donation would be profoundly supportive an this time.

If you would like to and are able to assist the Harrisons, please donate what you can in honor of Matthew. Any funds that exceed the expenses incurred will be donated in Matthew's name to local children's emergency services that are to be determined.
