Dad

Our dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer just last week after feeling sick only a month ago. The doctors are doing all they can at this point to ease his pain and to be sure he isn't suffering anymore. He is our everything. The most special and funniest guy we'll ever know. He doesn't deserve this pain and I want him to know everything will be okay when he goes to heaven.  Unfortunatly after working so hard for us our whole lives he has been unable to work for a few years as he has had several strokes and additional medical complications. My mom is also unable to work as she has been disabled for many years and has not yet been able to receive any financial assistance. I am working on getting my mom assistance but the process has proven to be very difficult and will take a long time. My brother and I really are doing all we can to help with any bills. Right now our concern is to be sure my mom doesn't have to do this alone and that she won't have to fear losing her home after our dad passes. This has been one of the toughest things I've ever written, and please know our family struggles asking for any kind of help, but right now I feel it is okay to push aside our pride. Anything will help. Please tell your loved ones everyday you love them, life is just too short. Thank you.
