Help for the Hollands
Donation protected
Hi guys, our sweet friends Nate and Jaycie (Emily) Holland's home in Savannah was looted not once but TWICE during the mandatory evacuation of Chatham County for Hurricane Matthew.
On top of losing MOST of their valuables their house is not in a good state. Broken doors need to be replaced immediately. They watched the break in live on their phones via a camera set up while on the phone with SPD. The second incident was after wi-fi was lost. The thieves went through absolutely everything, even the attic in the garage which needs a ladder to access. They used saws and crow bars from the Holland’s own garage to damage their property! The looters even turned the AC down and made themselves at home apparently. Last but not least, a tree fell on their fence from the hurricane.
If that wasn’t hard enough, their cat Mara is missing. She was let out by the criminals and hasn’t been found yet. If you see or know anything about her please let them know!
Nate’s facebook post exposing the looter’s faces has been shared almost a thousand times and has been picked up by local news. We hope they are caught ASAP.
Any donation would be appreciated to help Nate and Jaycie restore their home. We’ve seen tremendous support from the good people in our city so far!
