Lyrik is tough as Nails!!

Lyrik is a tough 7 year old and has gone through a lot over the last week. He has been suffering from headaches over the last few weeks strong enough that they started to make him vomit.

The doctors in Salina ran some tests/scans and located a tumor in the back of his brain that was the size of a golf ball. A phone call was made to Childrens Mercy in KC and they sent a jet to immediately to pick him up on Monday. 

Once he got to Childrens Mercy, they went to work and continued more tests/scans and devised a battle plan to remove the tumor. The procedure took over 6 hours and the doctors are confident they got it all. They will be performing bioposies on it to validate it is not malignant and are doing a great job keeping Lyrik safe and comfortable.

This page is being setup to assist his family in covering costly healthcre bills that will soon be rolling in and to take some burden off of them as they will be experieicng costs over the next number of months with therapy and trips to KC for monthly checkups at Childrens Mercy.
