Martha's Mission Trip to Haiti

Dear Friends and Family-

I have been presented with a wonderful opportunity to participate in a mission trip to Haiti this summer. The trip is a "mission of presence" and our delegation of four will be serving at St. Anne's School in Labrande, Haiti during a week-long summer camp program.

As many of you know, our family has been exploring a new parish, Church of the Nativity. Much like our long-time home parish of Corpus Christi, Church of the Nativity also has a strong sister parish relationship with St. Anne's Church in Labrande.

Labrande is a small, rural village and its community is challenged by all the problems of poverty, lack of resources, and poor housing that plague Haiti as a whole.

Please consider supporting me in this mission effort. My trip costs will exceed $1500. By contributing a small amount, you can help me defray the costs of my trip, while supporting Nativity's outreach efforts at St. Anne's Parish.
