Help me go to school

I was accepted to Arcadia University’s pre med biology program and finished my fall semester  tuition is $45,000 a year but I had received an academic merit scholarship for $13,500, a merit grant for a little under $2000 and my federal grants and loans. Many years ago my dad made me put my name on a mortgage and a few years ago he decided to stop paying for it and the house was foreclosed on and my credit was ruined. I still had $10,000 of my tuition to pay for.

I couldn’t get private loans with my credit score without a co-signer, but my dad refused to co-sign. He told me he would cover whatever was left over and we set up a payment plan to pay on a monthly basis.

I didn’t find out until the end of the semester that he had not made any payments and that I still owed the ten thousand dollars. Shortly after that, he passed away from liver cancer. My mom tried to co-sign on loans for me but her credit score is also not good enough to be a co-signer and so now I am stuck with ten thousand dollars to pay off.

I can not register for classes for next semester until it is paid off. I have already paid for a trip to Costa Rica during spring break (a class about sustainable ecotourism, it’s not an actual vacation, but something that goes towards my degree and has credits.), but now I will be unable to go. I can not get a refund and I can not get the money transferred over to put towards my tuition because the tickets have already been paid for.

that was my Christmas present but instead it is six hundred dollars down the drain. I don’t mind not going to Costa Rica, I could care less as long as I was able to go back to school at Arcadia, but that doesn’t look like it will be happening.

I have been sober for two years now. I have worked so hard to get to where I am and I am watching it all slip through my fingers  it’s the only thing I wantand I don’t understand why karma has to kick me in this way. I would do anything to go back to schoolnext semester and I don’t know what else to do besides set this up and pray that something works out. Unfortunately I can’t afford to buy lottery tickets so I’m turning to you guys

anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
