This is Nick on the left with his best buddy for life!! Nick is a fun loving energetic 17 year old boy who loves Football, a gamer for sure and jams out to his favorite rap tunes. He loves carpentry and is an extremely hard working young man.
On October 1st tragedy struck. Just hanging out on the family acreage outside Colonsay taking his dog for a run along size the quad, unfortunately his dog Tucan ran in front and in an attempt to avoid hitting him he himself took the fall with the quad rolling and landing on top of his leg. With a broken lower spine and damage to the spinal cord he has lost function of the lower half of his body. As of right now he has been told there is a 1% chance of ever walking again. Nick has a couple more weeks at RUH then he'll be off to City hospital for rehabilitation for an undetermined amount of time.
The financial strain of maintaining every day life will surely start to takes its toll. Rob and Tasha want to provide Nick and his two little brothers a "normal" life through this tragic time. Rob works away from home and with a Family Salon to run there is not much time they can take off without it causing that dreaded strain. This page is to help with the costs of the next couple months while Nick is in the 2 hospitals so he is able to have that family support not only physically for therapy but mentally as well.
