Im a 28 year old Seattlelite who loves the outdoors and adventuring. I have camped and hiked my entire life, and feel the most spiritual while doing so.

Those of you who are close to me, know that this past year has been full of hardships for me and challenges which have forced me to become a better person, and grow in ways I couldn't understand until now. It is my hope that by risking the comforts of home, living out of my pack, keeping my heart open to all of the new people I meet along the way and places I will see, that I will continue to grow and learn things about myself and others that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Not to mention the mental feat of pushing through the pain and maintaining the will to keep one foot in front of the other on the many days I'm sure I'll want to give up.
I have made the brave decision to leave my job this coming April (I have NEVER been unemployeed=this is petrifying to me) to embark on the biggest adventure of my life. I plan to hike the Pacific Crest Trail (Mexico to Canada). The trail is 2, 650 miles and will take me around five months to complete.

This is obviously no easy feat, physically, mentally, or financially. I am working as hard as I can, doing side jobs etc over the next seven months in order to prepare to do this. I'm taking a HUGE risk and it is scary. I have a ton of amazing support from so many incredible people, and have been asked how they can help me. You may not be able to walk the miles for me, but you can help fund me to be able to do so.
I plan to pay 5 months of rent as well as car payments in advance. Whatever money I raise here will go towards rent, car payments, food for my 5 month journey, supplies I need ie shoes (you go through a LOT of shoes on this hike) motels/hotels along the way for my dingy self to shower etc.

In addition to any finacially help you want to offer, I am so greatful for all of the offers to hike with me and help me prepare to hike everyday for five months!
I will be keeping a blog and will post the link on social media once it is up and running. My hope is to keep you all updated and bring you along on my journey.
All my love and immesurable gratitude,
Elise
